While visiting my son in Madison, his sewer backed up. Monona Plumbing came out a short time after we called, to help us out. The technicians placed a Borescope camera down into a couple of different drain pipes to find and diagnose the extent of the blockage. Then they proceeded with a flex rooter to clean out all of the buildup that was blocking the drain. They followed up again with the camera to ensure the pipe was clean and intact.
They were very pleasant and thorough, doing great work.

Work was completed as scheduled and the plumbing part replacement itself was performed successfully.
However, I had concerns with billing transparency, specifically regarding how labor time was calculated. The in-unit work took under an hour, but 1.5 hours of labor was billed, which included time beyond direct service in the home. I raised this with the company and requested clarification, but the billing was upheld as standard policy.
Overall, the work quality was fine, but I would recommend confirming how labor time is structured before booking service, particularly how time beyond in-home work is handled.

Our kitchen sink drain backed up, of course early Saturday morning, so we waited until early Monday morning to call to get an appointment. They came and cleaned it all out by midday. Great response time, professional, pleasant ... pretty much everything one could ask for. This is the first service job I have had Monona do, but they worked on two remodeling projects for us - our kitchen and then our bathroom. They did good work then so I expected them to do equally well this time. They did not disappoint.
