This policy explains what information Monona Plumbing and Fire Protection, Inc. (“Monona”, “we”, “us”) collects through mononapfp.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you fill out a form, call us, or email us, we collect what you provide. That is typically your name, phone number, email address, service address, and a description of the work you need. If you apply for a job, we collect the information in your application.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar technologies that record how visitors use the site: pages viewed, the device and browser used, approximate location, and how you arrived. We use:
- Google tools, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure site traffic and advertising results.
- Meta Pixel, to measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
- Call tracking (CallTrackingMetrics). The website may show a tracking phone number so we can tell which advertisement or page led to your call. We record the date, time, duration and the phone number of calls to those numbers. Calls may be recorded for quality, training and record-keeping purposes.
- Spam protection (CleanTalk), which checks form submissions to filter out spam.
How we use information
To respond to your request, schedule and perform work, send estimates and invoices, follow up on service, improve our website, measure and improve our advertising, and meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share information with companies that help us run our business, such as our website host and our form, scheduling, call tracking, analytics and advertising providers, only as needed for them to provide those services. Information collected by the Google and Meta tools described above is also used by those companies under their own privacy policies.
We may use contact information you give us to show you relevant advertising on platforms such as Facebook and Google, for example by securely matching it with those platforms. You can ask us not to (see “Your choices” below).
We may disclose information when required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Your choices
See Your Privacy Choices to limit advertising cookies and tracking. You can also contact us to ask what information we hold about you, or to ask us to correct it or delete it. We will respond within 45 days.
How long we keep information
We keep customer and job records for as long as we need them to service your property, honor warranties, and meet accounting, tax and legal requirements. When information is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No website or method of transmission is completely secure.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
